Frequently Asked Questions – Telemedicine Providers

Visits are conducted over a two way video between the provider and the patient.

You must have a decent up to date desktop or laptop computer that is equipped with a camera, audio feature and has a Chrome browser installed.

You can take an appointment from any private location. Keep in mind that you cannot take an appointment with anyone else in the room with you. To ensure patient privacy, we recommend taking appointments from your home or office with the door closed.

Typically 8-12 minutes. But a provider can extend the visit an extra 10 minutes if necessary.

Documentation will be done in our EMR which is AthenaHealth. You can access AthenaHealth in your computer browser.

Prescriptions are sent electronically from the AthenaHealth EMR to the choice of pharmacy of the patient.

Once a patient books an appointment online. One of our staff member will complete the patient registration. Once the patient is ready to be seen, a staff member will notify you. 

Instant Urgent Care is a new Telemedicine service provider. IUC emphasizes heavily on online advertisement. Patients looking for care find us online. If they decide to use our service, they will book an online appointment.

Instant Urgent Care is a physician owned medical group. We have been in business since 2015. We started off as a Urgent Care/Primary Care onsite practice, but now expanding in to Telemedicine.

Instant Urgent Care provides malpractice for providers who join the group. The policy is claims made that meets or exceeds state limits.

A member of our team will train you to use our EMR and Telemedicine platform.

Providers are compensated on per visit basis. We offer market competitive compensation. Your hiring manager will discuss this further with you.
